We respect your privacy. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your choices.
Who we are
The OC Bros (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides junk removal, moving, assembly, and handyman services in Orange County, CA.

What we collect
Information you give us on our website, by phone/text/email, or on-site:
- Identifiers: name, phone, email, address, job location.
- Service details: items to remove/assemble, photos you upload, notes, preferred dates, reference number from our cost calculator.
- Transaction info: quotes, invoices, payments and refunds. Card data is processed by our payment processor (Square) and not stored by us.
- Communications: calls, texts, and emails with us.
Automatic data (website/app):
- Basic device/info needed to run the site (IP address, browser, pages viewed) and cookies for functionality and analytics (see Cookies).
We do not intentionally collect sensitive data (SSN, health data, precise geolocation).
Why we use your information
- Give quotes, schedule visits, and complete jobs.
- Send confirmations, reminders, updates, and receipts.
- Customer support and warranty issues.
- Improve our website and operations (quality, safety, fraud prevention).
- Legal, tax, and compliance.
Text messages
By providing a mobile number you agree we may send transactional SMS about quotes, scheduling, and updates.
- Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
- Message & data rates may apply. Frequency varies.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
How we share information
We don’t sell your personal information. We don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We share data only with:
- Service providers who help us run the business (examples: website hosting/WordPress, WS Form for forms, Setmore for scheduling, Google services like Gmail/Calendar/Analytics, Square for payments, file storage, and email/SMS providers).
- Legal and safety when required by law or to protect rights.
- Business transfers if we sell or reorganize the business.
Service providers are contractually limited to using data only to perform services for us.
Cookies and analytics
We use necessary cookies to operate the site and may use analytics cookies to understand traffic and improve the site. You can control cookies in your browser settings. If we enable advertising/remarketing in the future, we’ll update this section.
We use Google Analytics to measure site traffic and improve the site. Google may set cookies and collect IP address in a limited/pseudonymous way. You can control cookies in your browser or use Google’s opt-out add-on: Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.
Retention
We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal/tax requirements. Typical ranges:
- Quotes and job records: 24 months
- Invoices and payment records: 7 years (tax)
Your rights (California)
If you live in California, you can:
- Know/Access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold.
- Delete your personal information (with some legal exceptions).
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Opt out of sale/share (we do not sell or share as defined by CPRA).
- Limit use of sensitive information (we don’t collect it).
Non-discrimination. We will not deny services, charge different prices, provide a different level or quality of services, or suggest you may receive different prices or quality because you exercised any privacy right. Price differences permitted by law (e.g., discounts reasonably related to the value of data) may still apply.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by California law (CPRA). For questions or requests, email contact@theocbros.com.
To make a request, email contact@theocbros.com or call (657) 776-2336. We’ll verify your identity before acting on a request. You may use an authorized agent with proper permission.
We respond within 45 days of verifying your identity. If reasonably necessary, we may extend the response time by up to 45 additional days and will notify you of the extension.
Children
Our services are for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Changes
We may update this policy. We’ll post a new effective date when we do. Continued use of our site/services means you accept the updated policy.
